Art

Our art corners serve as a great creative outlet for children to help express their emotions and ideas. Here Children experience different textures and use different materials as they create their works of art. They develop fine motor skill and improve hand-eye coordination.


Teaching Aids

Our collection of various teaching aids improves child’s motor skills, practice problem solving, and learn to work with their classmates. Block play enables children to explore their creative side by building unique structures and communities

Reading Corner

Reading habits begin in the early years. Maalinyai Preschool promotes early literacy and supports a love of language and reading. Our library corner is a distinct area of the classroom with a variety of board books, picture books, early readers and comfortable seating.


Pretend Play

Maalinyai children experiment with role plays regularly to make sense out of what they’ve observed. Pretend play is much more than simple play activities; it requires advanced thinking strategies, communication, and social skills. Children learn to do things like negotiate, consider others’ perspectives, transfer knowledge from one situation to another, balance their own ideas with others, develop a plan and act on it.

Sand and Water

Sand & water play area in our outdoors has a major role in early science learning, maths, physical development and imaginative and creative play. It helps children to understand different movements such as tipping, splashing and pouring as well as different concepts like ‘more than’, ‘less than’ and ‘equal to’.


Outdoor, Nature and Science

Outdoor learning spaces is an integral part of Maalinyai curriculum. The increase in environmental concerns makes it even more important for children to study nature and science. Children also develop their large muscles and sophisticated play skills when they consume their energies in structured activities.

Beat, Music and Movement

Children love jumping on beats. Maalinyai children do lot many experiments with sound and music. Kids who grow up hearing music, singing songs, and moving to the beat are exposed to a wide variety of tastes, smells, textures, colours, and sounds.
